Outpatient Endoscopy Nurse

This position is for a 4x10 hour shift from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM.

We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Endoscopy Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess skills in various endoscopic procedures and demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent patient care. Previous experience in outpatient settings and knowledge of endoscopic equipment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in outpatient endoscopic procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, and ERCPs.
• Maintain and operate endoscopic equipment such as endoscopes, electrosurgical units, and bronchoscopes.
• Ensure proper sterilization and high-level disinfection of instruments and supplies.
• Participate in pre-procedure and post-procedure care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate patient records and chart using electronic charting systems.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and universal precautions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, with charge experience preferred.
• Active compact nursing license required.
• Experience with outpatient endoscopy procedures and related equipment.
• Familiarity with high-level disinfection and instrument processing.
