Job Summary

The Operating Room Registered Nurse position is based in Issaquah, Washington. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care within a hospital environment, supporting a variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, and spine. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

• Required Qualifications:
  
  2 years of OR experience, previous charge experience, Community Hospital EMR certification, and a valid license.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Scrub experience with ENT and orthopedic surgeries, robotic surgery, and patient care experience involving complex procedures.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  Providing care for patients undergoing procedures such as abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, appendectomy, arthroscopy, breast augmentation, cholecystectomy, colon resection, robotic surgeries, laminectomy, laparoscopic procedures, lumbar fusion, total joint replacement, and more. Expertise in procedures involving blood/blood products, epidural pumps, drains, PICC/Central Lines, and wound Vacs is required.

  Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics
• Unit Specifics:
  Supports interdisciplinary procedures and elective surgeries, with potential floating to other campuses within the same service line.
• Travel & Compliance:
  Requirement to submit two references covering the past year during the compliance process.
• Pay package: based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
