OR RN – Perioperative
Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
Orthopedic sports medicine experience required
Scrub experience preferred in orthopedic/sports medicine and ENT
Required:
BLS
Preferred: ACLS
Key clinical skills:
- Robotics experience
- Procedure/conscious sedation monitoring
- Administration of blood/blood products
- Management of drains, wound vacs, epidural pumps
- Vascular access: PICC/central lines, Port-A-Cath access/care
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the perioperative setting.
- Assist in the preparation and management of the operating room.
- Perform circulating and/or scrubbing duties as needed based on the case.
- Monitor patient status and provide support during surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain sterile techniques and assist in the preparation of equipment and instruments for surgery.
Orientation: 24 hours pre-start.
Pre-start modules required, typically ~16 hours.
