Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Title:
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years RN Labor & Delivery experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
- Preferred: ACLS
- Compact state license must be in hand at submission
- Submit references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs during labor
- Assist in the management of labor and high-risk deliveries
- Perform circulatory duties during C-section procedures
- Administer medications, including pain management and IV fluids
- Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Compliance / Notes:
- Float expected to Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Pre-start modules required (non-billable; approximate 16 hours)
