Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Title:

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years RN Labor & Delivery experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
• Preferred: ACLS
• Compact state license must be in hand at submission
• Submit references covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs during labor
• Assist in the management of labor and high-risk deliveries
• Perform circulatory duties during C-section procedures
• Administer medications, including pain management and IV fluids
• Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Compliance / Notes:

• Float expected to Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Pre-start modules required (non-billable; approximate 16 hours)
