Labor & Delivery RN – Labor & Delivery
Minimum 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience required; travel experience required; does not accept first-time travelers. Epic charting experience required. Valid state nursing license; compact license must be active at time of submission. Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate. Preferred: ACLS.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, including triage and low-risk antepartum care. Circulate for C-sections and manage post-operative care. Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and assist in GYN surgeries. Utilize appropriate management of medications and fluids such as blood products, magnesium sulfate, and insulin drips. Provide couplet care and support in the transition nursery for newborns. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes.
