Labor & Delivery RN – Labor & Delivery

Minimum 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience required. Travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted). Epic charting experience required. Valid compact state nursing license must be active at the time of submission. Certifications required: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate. Preferred certification: ACLS. Core clinical skills: labor & delivery care, triage of obstetrical patients, sterile vaginal exams, circulating for C-sections, management/administration of blood products and medications, neonatal transition care, assistance in high-risk deliveries.

Provide care for laboring patients, including low-risk antepartum and labor & delivery. Attend and manage deliveries, including high-risk situations. Circulate in C-sections and GYN surgeries, providing post-operative care as needed. Manage couplet care and assist in the transition nursery. Perform triage for obstetrical patients, including assessment and intervention as necessary. Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and best practices in maternal care.
