Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift; 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing low-risk and high-risk deliveries, along with strong skills in OB-GYN procedures. This role involves circulating, scrubbing, and providing post-operative care. The nurse will be responsible for patient assessments, administering medications, and assisting in various special procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients during labor and delivery, including pre-op and post-op care.
• Monitor and assess patients experiencing labor and preterm labor.
• Administer blood and blood products, as well as manage various pumps and medications.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and GYN surgeries.
• Attend and support all deliveries and assist in the care of newborns in the transition nursery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Active compact RN license required.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS preferred.
• Epic experience is required.
