Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery, Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, working 4x12-hour rotations (19:00 - 07:30).

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Labor and Delivery to join our team. The ideal candidate will work diligently in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality care to obstetrical patients during their labor and delivery process. The role involves attending high-risk deliveries and GYN surgeries and managing low-risk antepartum and postpartum cases.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and manage epidurals and PCA pumps.
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk cases.
• Perform assessments and manage care for obstetrical patients.
• Utilize Epic for charting and maintaining patient records.
• Participate in specialized procedures such as blood product administration and cardioversion/defibrillation.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Active compact RN license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS preferred.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
