Job Description:
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, attending to high-risk deliveries, managing OB-GYN procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the birthing process.
- Attend all deliveries and high-risk deliveries.
- Perform circulatory functions, scrub roles, and assist in OB-GYN surgeries.
- Administer medications and manage pain relief treatments.
- Monitor patient status during labor and delivery.
- Provide post-operative care and support to new mothers.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Epic experience is required.
- Current certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS (preferred).
- Active compact license must be in hand at submission.
