Postpartum / OB-GYN RN

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted.
• Valid state RN license required; compact license must be in hand at submission.
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP.
• References: 2 required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
• Must disclose any prior work at the facility (location + dates).
• Key clinical skills:
  Postpartum care (vaginal and C-section), post-op care, routine newborn assessment, glucose management, phototherapy.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns.
• Monitor and assess the health status of patients in the postpartum unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient needs.
• Document care and patient progress in electronic medical records accurately.
