Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide high-quality care for patients experiencing labor and preterm labor. This role involves circulating, scrubbing, and attending to various procedures and deliveries, including high-risk cases.

Responsibilities:

• Administer blood and blood products as required.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries, including GYN surgeries.
• Manage patients in labor and triage settings.
• Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation.
• Administer medications including heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate.
• Float between Post-Partum and possibly Labor & Delivery as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Active compact RN license.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate; ACLS preferred.
• Epic experience is required.
