Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Issaquah, WA | Labor and Delivery

Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | 13 or 26 Week Contracts Available

• Provide direct patient care across labor, preterm labor, triage, low-risk antepartum, pre-op, post-op, and couplet care settings within an 8-room labor and 4-room triage unit
• Circulate and scrub for OB-GYN surgeries, including GYN surgeries and attendance at both routine and high-risk deliveries
• Administer blood and blood products, and manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac equipment
• Administer high-alert medications including heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate; perform or assist with cardioversion/defibrillation and cooling/warming blanket procedures
• Support transition nursery and couplet care as needed; maintain a staffing ratio of 1:1–3
• Float to post-partum and potentially to a sister Labor and Delivery unit as required

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility to be considered a local candidate; locals are accepted
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with high-risk obstetric patients and complex OB procedures
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
