Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Issaquah, WA | Acute Care

Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | 13 or 26 Week Contracts Available

• Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery, including labor, preterm labor, low-risk antepartum, triage, pre-op, post-op, and couplet care settings
• Circulate and scrub for OB-GYN surgeries; attend low-risk and high-risk deliveries
• Administer blood and blood products, and manage specialized equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac
• Administer high-alert medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
• Operate within a staffing ratio of 1:1–3 across an 8-room labor unit and 4-room triage area
• Float as needed to Post-Partum and potentially a sister Labor and Delivery facility; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day); up to 2 major holidays may be requested off upfront
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler; local candidates are accepted

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with transition nursery and high-risk delivery attendance
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
