Music Store Leader

Music & Arts seeks a Music Store Leader to oversee daily retail operations, drive sales, and champion music education. You will lead and coach a sales and lesson team, manage inventory for instruments, rentals, repairs, and accessories, and ensure an exceptional student- and educator-focused experience. Partner with school service reps, support private lesson programs, and maintain accurate cash handling and store reporting.

The role requires strong retail leadership, scheduling, merchandising, and customer service skills in a collaborative, performance-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach retail and lesson staff to meet sales and service goals
• Oversee daily store operations, opening/closing, cash handling, and reporting
• Manage inventory for instruments, rentals, repairs, and accessories
• Drive lesson enrollment and support private music teachers
• Partner with school service representatives to support local music programs
• Deliver outstanding customer service to students, parents, and educators
• Ensure attractive merchandising and effective in-store promotions
• Schedule staff and manage labor to meet business needs
• Maintain store appearance, safety, and policy compliance
• Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to grow revenue
