Security Supervisor

Job Overview

Oversees and maintains the flow and balance of work in the Security Department. Provides leadership, direction, and a working environment that promotes teamwork and customer satisfaction. Ensures that the standards of service are met for the Security Department in a manner consistent with SMC's/EDM's mission, vision, and values. Persons in this position must be able to perform all of the duties and functions of a Security Officer, including initial incident response, interviewing, and investigations.

• Associate's Degree or equivalent two years of related training and experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in healthcare security.
• FEMA Level 100 or higher certification (upon hire).
• Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Must provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.

• Basic Security Officer Certification and Supervisory Development Certification through the International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety (upon hire).
• 2 years of related experience and training desired, preferably in Healthcare Security and Safety.

$31.43 - $48.08 per hour (base pay). Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
