Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $24-$34 DOE

- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and the ability to communicate effectively.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A good working knowledge of commercial and residential painting/wallcovering and repair, typically three to five years of painting and finishing experience in a residential setting.
- Ability to use power tools and painting equipment.
- A valid First Aid/CPR and AED card required, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
The Finish Specialist is responsible for maintaining and restoring the appearance, functionality, and quality of interior and exterior finishes throughout the retirement community. The role supports resident comfort, safety, and satisfaction by performing skilled repairs, refinishing, painting, touch‑up work, and detailed cosmetic maintenance in apartments, common areas, healthcare spaces, and facility grounds.
- Perform drywall repair, patching, texture matching, sanding, and finishing.
- Complete interior and exterior painting, staining, and touch‑up work.
- Repair and refinish cabinetry, trim, doors, millwork, furniture, and wall surfaces.
- Install and repair caulking, grout, flooring transitions, hardware, and finish materials.
- Maintain appearance standards in resident homes, hallways, dining rooms, offices and amenity spaces.
- Perform apartment turns and renovation punch‑list work in preparation for new residents.
- Repair cosmetic damage caused by normal wear and tear while preserving high‑end community appearance standards.
- Coordinate work with maintenance, housekeeping, constructions, and management teams.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in occupied resident environments.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and finishing equipment safely.
- Identify finish‑related deficiencies and proactively recommend repairs or improvements.
- Respond professionally and courteously to resident service requests.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift 50 pounds; walking, standing, pushing, stooping, bending, stretching. Must be able to climb and descend ladders and stairs. Must be able to see, hear and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
