Job Description
Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr
- The Senior Front-End Engineer will design and build performant, scalable, and accessible Single Page Applications using Next.js, React, and Type Script.
- This role requires strong technical leadership, client-facing communication skills, and collaboration with global offshore teams.
- The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment delivering high-impact user experiences hosted on Google Cloud Platform.
- Architect and implement modern SPAs using Next.js, React.js, and Type Script.
- Develop both client-side and server-side components within Next.js applications.
- Integrate and extend design systems, branding templates, and style guides using HTML5, CSS3, and SASS or SCSS.
- Build reusable components and shared libraries to scale across multiple applications.
- Own and implement unit testing strategies using Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
- Debug complex UI issues across browsers and devices while optimizing performance through caching, lazy loading, and code splitting.
- Implement Single Sign-On integrations using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML protocols.
- Manage iFrame-based content and ensure secure embedding practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and cloud teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Deploy and monitor front-end applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Lead and mentor offshore development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and delivery timelines.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and roadmap discussions.
- 7 to 10 years of professional front-end development experience.
- Deep expertise in Next.js, React.js, and Type Script.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Hands‑on experience deploying and managing front‑end applications on GCP.
- Familiarity with SSO protocols including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
- Excellent client‑facing communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments with onsite and offshore collaboration.
- Experience with design systems such as Material UI or Ant Design.
- Familiarity with CI or CD pipelines for front-end deployments.
- Exposure to AI or ML dashboards, data visualization platforms, or real-time user interfaces.
- Knowledge of multi-cloud environments including AWS and Azure and cloud migration strategies.
- Frameworks and Libraries including Next.js, React.js, Redux, and Type Script.
- Testing tools including Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
- Styling frameworks including CSS Modules, SASS or SCSS, and Tailwind CSS.
- Build and deployment tools including Webpack, Vite, and GCP Cloud Build.
- Authentication protocols including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
- Monitoring and debugging tools including Chrome Dev Tools, Lighthouse, and Sentry.
- Collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
