Operations Program Internship

Location: Turbigo

sennder is Europe’s leading digital freight forwarder. We are a growing team looking for an Operations Program Intern to help us revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Milan office.
What You’ll Do
Support the Operations Programs team in daily activities and help improve internal processes.

This role offers hands‑on experience in operations management, data reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Support daily operational activities, including data entry and workflow monitoring.
Create and maintain standardized reports and dashboards to improve visibility and decision‑making.
Analyze operational data, focusing on performance and financial aspects.
Review and document internal processes (SOPs) and suggest improvements.
Act as backup for the team in day‑to‑day operations and project tracking when needed.
Collaborate with Operations, Product, and Finance teams to support well‑structured processes.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
Interest in data analysis; some experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is ideal.
A curiosity for working with large datasets and turning data into actionable insights.
Good organizational and presentation skills.
Effective communication in Italian and English, written and spoken.
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Proactive, eager to learn, and able to manage tasks independently.
Enjoys being part of a collaborative and supportive team.
