Junior Project Manager

Location: Cusano

As a Junior Project Manager at AECOM Buildings + Places in Milan, you will support multidisciplinary projects across geographies and learn the full project life cycle from proposal to close. You’ll work with international delivery teams, manage documentation, and support control and QA activities. The role combines client-facing coordination with internal stakeholder management and subcontractor oversight. This is a growth-focused position with ample exposure to design and construction processes.

Job Responsibilities   Support project management across varying complexities with international teams
Organize and manage project documentation and delivery
Interface with clients: prepare presentations, organize meetings, set agendas, take minutes
Assist in project performance control: risk assessments, schedules, financial control, deliverables, reports
Contribute to quality control and quality assurance activities
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and support the Design Manager in delivery coordination
Manage subcontractors and procurement processes
Assist with business development tasks, including proposal preparation
Qualifications   University Degree in Architecture or Engineering
Fluent in Italian and English
1-3 years of experience in a similar role
Demonstrated initiative, practical judgment, and problem-solving skills
Team player able to work with internal teams, clients, sub-consultants, and vendors
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Highly motivated with a willingness to learn and contribute actively
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Familiarity with BIM environments (a plus)
Willingness to travel for work
