Knitwear Designer – Dynamic & Cross-Functional Creative LeadTHE ROLE Alanui is seeking a highly skilled, proactive and organized Knitwear Designer to join our Style Team.

This role requires a dynamic and versatile creative who will be responsible for designing and developing women’s and men’s knitwear pieces for the RTW collections, contributing across all phases of the creative process from initial research and concept development to final product delivery.

You will report directly to the Creative Director and collaborate constructively and energetically with the Style Team and Product Development Office to ensure aesthetic consistency, product excellence, and respect for tight timelines.

WHAT YOU’LL DO Research mood boards, yarns, stitches, and inspirations.

Identify and analyze new trends to guide knitwear design direction.

Design both hand-drawn and technical sketches; follow the development process from concept through to final product.

Work closely with the Product Development team to ensure design feasibility and meet deadlines.

Lead fittings and provide creative support during fashion shows and presentations.

Contribute to the implementation of embroidery and print placements on knitwear pieces.

WHO YOU ARE Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role within the luxury fashion industry, with a strong focus on knitwear.

Degree in Fashion Design; a master’s degree is a plus.

Solid understanding of knitting techniques and knitting machines.

Strong technical knowledge of yarns, stitches, and knitwear constructions.

Excellent freehand drawing and sketching skills.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects in parallel and meet tight deadlines.
