Role Description
This is a remote, contract role for a Dubbing Script Adaptation Specialist with a focus on lip-sync adaptation. The specialist will be responsible for adapting scripts for dubbing while ensuring alignment with the lip-sync requirements of the content. Responsibilities include maintaining the artistic and linguistic integrity of the original material, working accurately within dubbing constraints, and collaborating with other team members throughout the adaptation process.

The role also involves meticulous attention to script editing, timing, and cultural sensitivities to ensure high-quality output.

Qualifications
Experience in scriptwriting, adaptation, or editing, with a focus on lip-sync dubbing
Proficiency in identifying and addressing timing and pacing issues in dubbing scripts
Strong language skills, including grammar, proofreading, and linguistic precision
Ability to maintain the cultural and linguistic integrity of the source content while making it suitable for a new audience
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines

Experience with dubbing or subtitle software is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Communications, Linguistics, or a related field preferred
