Experteer Overview As a Footwear Designer at Rossignol, you will lead the creative development of high-performance footwear, aligning concepts with brand objectives and product strategy. You’ll explore materials, technologies, and constructions to deliver distinctive, user-focused designs. Working closely with Product, Development, Marketing, and suppliers, you will translate market insights into compelling collections and support from concept to validation.
This role offers the opportunity to shape athletic footwear narratives for a global mountain-sports brand.
Retribuzione / Benefits Oversee conceptualization and creative development for the Performance Footwear line to align with brand and collection goals
Develop innovative concepts integrating functionality, construction, and style for high-performance designs
Define technical, aesthetic, and graphic design of products and components
Research market trends, colors, materials, and technologies and translate into proposals
Research, develop, and apply new materials and technologies for quality, performance, and innovation
Manage and update the collection's color and material palettes
Use 2D/3D modeling and rendering tools and AI to support the creative process and generate design options
Translate designs into complete tech packs and oversee technical specifications through validation
Support Product Development in prototype creation and supplier relations, preparing technical documentation for manufacturing
Participate in collection presentations and review events; contribute to internal/external presentations
Collaborate with Product, Development, Marketing teams and suppliers to ensure feasibility, quality, and timelines
Travel for research, development, and meetings with suppliers and partners
ResponsabilitàBachelor’s degree in industrial design or related field3–5 years of experience in technical/sports footwear design
Strong knowledge of footwear materials, constructions, and technologies
Ability to share ideas, inspire others, and receive feedback
Excellent command of English Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
