Job Description & How to Apply Below
About MLC Presentation Design Consulting MLC Presentation Design Consulting is a leading boutique consultancy specializing in presentation design, data storytelling, and corporate training for multinationals and institutions. Our proprietary Lean Presentation Design methodology combines design thinking with strategic communication to transform how companies present their business. We redesign, rebuild, and elevate every slide to the highest professional standards and we train thousands of professionals each year to do the same.
Job Description We're looking for a graphic designer who wants to specialize in presentation design and grow into a client-facing training role.
If you have a background in graphic design and you understand layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy, and you're excited about applying those skills to business presentations, this role is for you. At MLC, our trainers don't lecture from a script: they redesign real client slides live, in front of an audience. That requires a designer's eye and a designer's hands first, and the communication skills to explain the thinking behind every choice.
You’ll join a team that works with leading global brands across food, pharma, luxury, and financial services. You’ll learn our Lean Presentation Design methodology and apply your design skills to transform how these organizations communicate visually. Over time, you’ll develop into a confident trainer who can lead workshops and represent MLC in corporate and public settings.
Key Responsibilities Progressively take on training delivery, starting with co-facilitation alongside senior trainers and growing into independent session leadership
Deliver workshops, both online and in person, with a strong emphasis on live slide redesign and practical demonstration
Adapt exercises and examples to the audience's industry, role, and skill level
Use your design authority to give participants credible, specific, precise visual feedback on their slides
Support the creation of webinar content and public training events showcasing MLC's methodology
Conduct post-session debriefs, collect feedback, and contribute to follow-up materials
Translate complex business content (strategy decks, financial reviews, product launches, internal communications) into clean, professional slide designs
Create before-and-after slide redesigns used in training sessions, case studies, and client deliverables
Collaborate with the team to push MLC's design standards forward, proposing new visual approaches and solutions
Requirements Degree, diploma, or professional qualification in graphic design, visual communication, or a closely related design discipline
1 to 2 years of professional experience in graphic design (including internships and freelance)
Experience in presentation design, editorial design, info graphic design, or corporate visual communication is a strong plus
Solid command of visual design fundamentals: grid systems, typography, color theory, hierarchy, white space, and compositional balance
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint as a design tool (building layouts from scratch, master slides, shapes, precise alignment). If your PowerPoint skills are developing but your design foundation is strong, we'll get you there
Ability to interpret data and translate it into clear, well-designed charts, diagrams, and visual summaries
A portfolio demonstrating your design work. Presentation design samples are ideal, but strong graphic design work in any format will be considered
Communication & Professional Standing Previous experience in corporate or client-facing environments is a strong plus
We work with senior stakeholders at multinational companies, so professional presence, polished communication, and the ability to hold a room are highly valued
Confidence speaking in front of groups and explaining your design decisions clearly
Curiosity and willingness to develop facilitation and training skills on the job
Collaborative, proactive attitude and comfort working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on occasion
Technical & Other Proficient in Windows
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or Figma is a plus but not required
Basic knowledge of AI tools and genuine interest in staying updated
Language Skills Professional proficiency in English and Italian, both written and spoken
Effective oral communication when addressing groups
Ability to compose clear, well-structured reports and correspondence
