The intern, active in the Global Coverage and Investment Banking department, will support the Senior Banker and the Global Relationship Managers working on a diversified client portfolio mainly active in the following categories : i) Infrastructure; ii) A&D; iii) Rail; iv) Capital Goods, others.

The person will be mainly involved in the following types of activity:
1) relationship-driven activities aimed at supporting the development of the relationships with clients in portfolio and with new potential customers, in particular: i) regular financial analysis (e.g. preparation of company profiles, financial statement analysis, sectorial analysis, news reporting); ii) contribution to the preparation of credit notes and participation in credit processes, related to requests presented by customers or periodical credit Annual Reviews;
iii) preparation of internal documentation to prepare CA CIB top management to client's meetings and iv) arrange documents to present CACIB's commercial offerings to existing or prospect clients.
2) portfolio-related activities, including: i) support in the periodic analysis and monitoring of portfolio results generated by the clients in the perimeter, paired with forecasting activities; ii) support in the monitoring of compliance requirements (mainly Know Your Customer duties); iii) involvement in the budget activities.
The position represents an opportunity to have a wide-ranging visibility on the whole CACIB's product offering, both in Italy and abroad, coupled with strong interactions with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. business lines, support functions...) in order to constantly assess clients' needs and provide effective solutions.
LANGUAGES
Fluency in written and spoken English. xpavfwm French is a plus
IT
Proficiency in Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE
Strong academic track record, preferably with a focus on subjects inherent Financial Products/Securities, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Accounting
Analytical and quantitative skills
Proficiency in writing and presentation skills

Willingness to learn
Flexibility and availability
As such, CACIB is looking for a person that is pro-active, able to deliver accurate results, willing to learn and to gradually work in autonomy, with good self-organization and time-management skills.
