Bikeflip, the leading European marketplace for buying and selling bicycles, is looking for a   Finance & Administration Specialist   to join its Finance, Administration, and Controlling team.

We are seeking a precise, organized, and reliable person who can manage the company’s day-to-day administrative activities while supporting management in financial operations, planning, and business analysis.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in administration and accounting, who is curious, proactive, and interested in growing into more analytical and strategic responsibilities, such as management control, business planning, reporting, and investor-related documentation.

The successful candidate will work closely with management, external accountants, and consultants, with the goal of becoming a key internal reference for administrative and financial operations over time.

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Managing the company’s accounting and day-to-day administrative activities
Reviewing, filing, and organizing administrative and accounting documentation
Handling administrative back-office tasks
Supporting accounting entries and the maintenance of general accounting records
Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
Reviewing and processing supplier invoices and payments
Monitoring collections, payments, due dates, and cash flows
Performing bank reconciliations and reviewing accounting transactions
Acting as the operational point of contact with accountants, consultants, and suppliers
Supporting the preparation of internal financial statements and periodic financial reports
Assisting with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
Supporting management control, cost analysis, and monitoring of key financial KPIs
Assisting in the preparation and updating of business plans and financial models
Supporting the preparation of documentation and materials for investors, banks, and external stakeholders
Contributing to the improvement and organization of internal administrative and financial processes

Required Qualifications
Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Previous experience, even limited, in administration, accounting, or finance
Knowledge of general accounting principles and administrative procedures
Good proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
Accuracy, reliability, and strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Analytical mindset and interest in financial management
Ability to work independently and interact effectively with external consultants and management
Good command of English

Preferred Qualifications
The following will be considered a plus:
Previous experience in startups, digital businesses, or fast-growing environments
Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, or management control activities
Ability to analyze and interpret financial and economic data
Experience preparing reports, business plans, or investor presentations/documents
Knowledge of accounting software, ERP systems, or business intelligence tools

Previous experience as a Finance Manager or CFO is not required. We are looking for someone with solid fundamentals, a willingness to learn, a strong sense of responsibility, and the desire to help build increasingly robust administrative and financial processes.
