Job Overview
The General Manager will lead all aspects of the property ensuring that the brand’s values of authentic hospitality, community, and creativity are fully reflected in the guest experience.

The ideal candidate will be a genuine host and inspiring leader with a proven track record in experiential hospitality.

Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities

Lead the existing team and add new team members

Drive revenue and profitability, holding full P&L responsibility

Advise on and manage CAPEX projects, ensuring investments align with business priorities and brand standards

Deliver a world‑class guest and member experience that reflects Aethos’ ethos and values

Partner with the corporate team to implement strategic initiatives and continuously improve performance

Ensure the highest standards of service, quality, and operational efficiency

Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring alignment between Rooms, F&B and Events

Prepare and submit all required reports accurately and on time

Foster innovation, encourage ideas, and act as an ambassador of Aethos culture

Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and local regulations

Represent the property in the local community, building relationships with partners and stakeholders

Oversee and grow the Aethos Club membership base, developing engaging experiences and strong relationships with members

Core Competencies

Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)

Minimum 5 years of hospitality management experience, including experience leading multi‑department teams

Strong understanding of F&B and Rooms operations

Commercially driven with the ability to identify and act on revenue and efficiency opportunities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to inspire, delegate, and engage teams

Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment

Hands‑on leadership style with genuine passion for hosting and human connection

Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills

Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and events as required

Upholds confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism at all times
