Nuti Ivo Group  is a major player in the Italian tanning industry, with a rich history dating back to 1955, and renowned for its excellence and innovation in producing high-quality leathers for the most prestigious luxury houses.

Founded by Ivo Nuti in Santa Croce sull'Arno, the group is celebrated for its craftsmanship in tanning bovine and ovine hides. These leathers are utilized in a variety of applications, including leather goods, belts, footwear, clothing, saddlery, and upholstery. They offer different tanning methods, such as chrome, vegetable, and metal-free options.

Comprising 5 companies, including specialized tanneries, we combine tradition, artisanal expertise, and cutting-edge technologies. With our strong local roots and international reach, we are employing over 300 people across four production facilities.

Nuti Ivo joined in 2024 the circle of companies associated with  LVMH Métiers d'Art , and dedicated to the preservation and development of luxury savoir-faire

Main mission

The HRD will be tasked with leading and executing a comprehensive HR roadmap. This involves collaborating closely with the CEO, the leadership teams, and the individual industrial entities to help define their HR requirements, proactively identify potential risks, facilitate business expansion, and ensure that local practices align with the broader policies and constraints of the LVMH Group.

Beyond this central responsibility, you will also act as a key contact and HR support for other LVMH Métiers d’Art tanneries based in Italy, contributing to the harmonization and sharing of best practices. This strategic role will be crucial in supporting our growth, securing our unique savoir-faire, and anticipating the human challenges of an evolving industry.

The HR Director will report directly to the CEO of Nuti Ivo Group and have a dotted-line reporting relationship with the HR Director of LVMH Métiers d’Art.

Job responsibilities
Defining and Deploying the HR Strategy for Nuti Ivo Group:

HR Strategy & Oversight:  Develop and implement an HR strategy aligned with the business objectives of each of the 5 entities and the Group. Oversee all HR functions: recruitment, training, career development, compensation, HR administration & employee relations.

Harmonization & Advisory:  Harmonize HR policies and practices across the 5 companies while respecting local and specific business needs. Advise General Management and entity management on all HR matters.

Talent Management:

Training & Development:  Design and deploy programs to enhance employee skills, foster specialized expertise, and expand knowledge. Identify training needs and assess program effectiveness.

Performance Management:  Supervise the performance management process, ensuring regular feedback and opportunities for professional growth.

Organizational Design:  Spearhead organizational design to optimize structural efficiency.

Compensation & Benefits:  Create and manage competitive compensation and benefits packages, ensuring compliance.

Skills Identification & GPEC:  Map rare and essential technical leather-related savoir-faire. Develop and implement ambitious GPEC plans for technical and leather craft positions.

Succession Planning & Knowledge Transfer:  Design and lead robust succession plans for key technical and leadership roles. Establish training, mentorship, and apprenticeship programs for skill transmission.

Attracting Technical Talent:  Develop specific sourcing strategies and employer branding to attract and retain technical talent.

Employee Relations and Work Climate:

Manage employee relations with social partners across the Group's entities.

Negotiate and implement company agreements (Italian national collective agreements for the leather industry) and manage social crisis situations.

Promote constructive social dialogue and a stimulating work environment.

HR Compliance, HRIS, and Reporting:

Ensure strict adherence to employment laws and regulations. Develop and maintain HR policies consistent with Group standards.

Lead the evolution and optimization of the HRIS for the entire Group.
