We are a growing team looking for a Senior Key Account Manager, Supervisor in the Sales department to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Milan office.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Key Account Manager, Supervisor you’ll work on interesting responsibilities like supporting your team in developing and executing customer growth strategies, ensuring top‑tier service delivery, and fostering deeper partnerships with multinational organizations. You will drive the growth and success of our most strategic, high‑value accounts by leading and empowering a team of Key Account Managers. This is a high‑impact leadership role requiring a seasoned professional skilled at navigating complex stakeholder environments, engaging with C‑Suite executives, and scaling commercial success through team performance.

You will play a key role in aligning team activities with sennder’s top‑line growth goals while cultivating a collaborative, high‑performance culture.

Lead and mentor a team of Key Account Managers, providing guidance, coaching, and support in the development and execution of customer growth strategies
Build relationships with C‑Suite executives and key decision makers within customer organizations, supporting your team in leading critical conversations to expand business opportunities
Develop joint goals and strategic account plans in collaboration with your team to drive customer success and revenue growth
Oversee and support your team in facilitating RFQ activities and managing commercial negotiations that result in sustainable, mutually beneficial agreements
Use critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to help your team navigate complex account situations, negotiations, and stakeholder dynamics
Drive a data‑driven approach to account management by encouraging your team to analyze customer performance data, identify opportunities, and influence decision‑makers
Promote and guide the adoption of digital integrations such as EDI and API to improve operational efficiency and customer experience
Work cross‑functionally with internal teams including Acquisition Sales, Account Operations, Partner Management, Pricing, and Product to support execution of customer projects and initiatives
Serve as a senior escalation point for key accounts, stepping in when needed to support high‑stakes discussions and decisions
Help establish best practices, processes, and performance standards that ensure excellence in account management and team collaboration

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Customer Success roles, preferably in logistics, supply chain, SaaS, or transportation industries
2+ years of experience leading and developing high‑performing account teams
Proven success in managing enterprise relationships and engaging with executive stakeholders
Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills
Commercially savvy with a strong understanding of account‑level P&L dynamics and business drivers
Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce and a structured approach to customer development
Fluency in English is required
