Role Description
The Asset Manager will support the management of a portfolio of retail assets (shopping centers and retail parks) in Italy, reporting to the Head of Asset Management.
The role includes helping implement asset management strategies, monitoring asset performance, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to create value.
Key Responsibilities
Support in the preparation of annual business plans, budgets, and forecasts for the assigned assets
Support delivery of the asset management strategy in line with approved business plans
Monitor asset performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions when needed
Coordinate and oversee property managers, leasing managers, and technical advisors
Support leasing by working closely with the leasing team to maximise occupancy and rental income
Liaise with public authorities and support permitting and administrative processes as required
Assist in assessing development and asset enhancement opportunities, including feasibility analyses
Prepare regular internal reports on asset performance and ongoing projects
Work with Finance and Property Administration teams to monitor cash flow and financial performance
Additional Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, consultants, advisors, and external stakeholders
Support office communications and promote asset management best practices
Ensure compliance with internal procedures xpavfwm and applicable regulations
Support ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications
Degree in Economics, Law, or a relevant qualification in Real Estate Administration
3–6 years' experience in property management or a related field; retail asset management experience is an advantage
Good understanding of shopping centre dynamics and retail market trends
Knowledge of the Italian real estate legal and regulatory framework
Fluent in Italian with a good working knowledge of English
Strong analytical and organisational skills
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Power Point
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment
