Overview
Join us as a Health & Safety Manager and lead the charge in creating a safer, healthier workplace within our R&D operations. You’ll manage a team, drive compliance, and champion a culture where safety and innovation go hand in hand.
Responsibilities
Oversee hazard identification, risk assessments, and implementation of control measures in R&D settings
Build and enforce safety protocols that comply with OSHA regulations and industry best practices
Lead incident investigations to uncover root causes and implement corrective actions that prevent future occurrences
Cultivate a proactive safety culture through training programs, employee engagement, and recognition of safe practices
Key Skills
Risk Assessment – advanced level; identifying and mitigating hazards in complex R&D environments
Operational Health and Safety Management – advanced level; implementing protocols that protect employees and ensure compliance
People Management – advanced level; leading and developing a team to achieve safety objectives
Project Management – advanced level; coordinating cross-functional safety initiatives from planning through execution
Incident Management – advanced level; investigating accidents and driving corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Communication – advanced level; delivering safety training and influencing stakeholders at all levels
