Role Summary and Impact
WPP Mediais looking for a Category Lead,reporting to the Client Director,whohas the responsibility to control and coordinate, also operationally, the correct planning of media campaigns of assigned client.
He/Shewill manage the relationship with the client and will strive to ensure the preparation of media plans, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines andthe delivery to the clients.
He/Shewill support the Client Director in developing innovative projects of communication planning, promoting the use of Agency’stools and technologies.
The role includes daily interaction with the agency’s staff functions:
Strategic, Digital, Technology, Commercial.

Key Responsibilities

Leading the definition of innovative communication strategies, promoting the adoption ofcutting-edgeagency tools, technologies, and pioneeringnew approachesin media planning and execution.
Managing strategicallythe budget of assigned brands,identifying and meeting unmet client needs, and defining success through key performance indicators related to client satisfaction, value delivery, and business growth.
Coordinatingdaily interactions with internal agency functions (Strategic, Digital, Technology, Commercial) and ensuring seamless collaboration andleveragingthe

WPPnetwork's diverse capabilities formaximumclient impact.
Conductingadvanced competitive analysis to inform strategic recommendations and position clients for market differentiation.
Supporting the Client Director in developing innovative projects and contributing to fostering a culture of continuous learning and talent development within the team.

Requirements

A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in strategic media leadership or client management within the media industry, preferably with a focus on Pharma orFMCG clients.
Degree orequivalentcultural background.
Demonstratedexpertise instrategicmedia planning and a deepunderstandingof theevolvingdigital, tech, andmartechlandscape.
Exceptional client advocacy and negotiation skills, with a history of shaping client engagements andoptimizingbusiness success.
Strongstrategicand commercial acumen, with theabilitytoidentifygrowthopportunitiesand drivevaluefor clients and the agency.
Previous experience in a strategic role or a strong strategiccomponentwithinpastpositionwill be considered as a plus.
