Join GLOM Global as a Residential Cook in Lodi. This role involves preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for clients while working with directors and staff to ensure nutritious menus.
Position Summary  The Residential Cook will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for our clients and work with Directors and residential staff to ensure the menus are nourishing for our clients.

Work Location:

Lodi
Responsibilities   Setting up, cleaning, and organizing workstations.
Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
Preparing oven, utensils, and grill for shift.
Preparing meals according to menus.
Cooking in accordance with food health and safety standards.
Recommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishes.
Dressing food and plates for presentation.
Sanitizing and cleaning workstations and utensils.
Re‑ordering stock and food supplies.
Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen, pantries, freezers, and refrigerators.
Qualifications   High School Degree or equivalent.
At least one (1) year of experience working as a cook.
Must have a Food Handlers Card.
Must be able to pass a CCL approved FBI and DOJ criminal background clearance.
PPD test for tuberculosis and satisfactory results.
Health Screening.
CPR/First Aid/BLS certification.
Valid driver’s license.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Ability to quickly prepare a meal.
Ability to read and understand a menu.
Ability to prepare an inventory.
Ability to self‑motivate.

Physical Requirements   Physical endurance to stand for an entire shift.
Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to lift and/or carry 25 pounds or less.
Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull bend multiple times a day.
Ability to handle sharp cooking instruments.
Ability to walk with items in hand, grasp and reach as needed.
Ability to provide first aid as needed.
