Shape the future of manufacturing automation—with Fastems.
Fastems is a leading international provider of intelligent automation solutions for the manufacturing industry.
Our mission: to make production processes more efficient, flexible, and future-proof.
That’s why we’re looking for you—a dedicated sales professional with technical expertise, a strong understanding of the market, and the drive to actively build customer relationships on the ground.
About the Role
You’ll identify new business opportunities, build lasting customer relationships, and manage the entire sales process—from initial contact to a successful close.
You’ll actively manage your sales territory and develop targeted strategies to increase revenue.
You’ll be close to the market:
In your role as Sales Manager, you’ll primarily work in the field, visiting potential and existing end customers in person at their locations on at least three out of five workdays per week.
You’ll work closely with colleagues from product development, marketing, and business units to develop customized solutions for our customers.
You’ll use our CRM system to systematically manage and track your sales opportunities.
You’ll monitor market trends, analyze competitors, and contribute your own ideas to further develop our sales approaches.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales of complex technical solutions—ideally in mechanical engineering or the automation industry
High level of self-motivation, strong closing skills, and a customer-focused mindset
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Enthusiasm for technology and a keen sense of market trends and customer needs
Willingness to travel regularly (at least 3 days a week on the road)
Fluent in Italian and English
What we offer
An attractive compensation package, including profit sharing
Permanent full-time employment with competitive terms and conditions in accordance with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Tertiary, Distribution and Services Sectors.
Company car (business and private use)
A dynamic and international work environment
Personal development opportunities and long-term career prospects
A collaborative, open team with flat hierarchies
All necessary IT equipment (laptop, tablet, smartphone) with a connectivity package
Training at our headquarters in Finland is part of the onboarding process
