Senior Accountant

Overview

Location: Itasca, IL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 + 15% Bonus

Experience: 3+ years (Public accounting strongly preferred)

We’re seeking a highly analytical, technically savvy Senior Accountant to support and enhance our global SaaS accounting operations. Reporting to the Assistant Controller
, you’ll play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, technical accounting, and process improvements. This is an opportunity to take ownership, influence change, and make a measurable impact in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting under US GAAP
• Support development and implementation of accounting policies and controls
• Conduct technical accounting research and document findings
• Ensure SOX compliance and maintain related documentation
• Prepare materials for flux analysis and support external audits
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of experience (public accounting strongly preferred)
• Strong US GAAP knowledge; SOX experience a plus
• Technical accounting research experience required (industry or public)
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast‑paced SaaS environment
