As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, preparing reconciliations, and assisting with financial reporting. Staff Accountant Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve accounting processes

Staff Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3+ years of experience in a Staff Accountant or similar accounting role preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems preferred
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
