Lake Park High School is currently hiring for the 12-month position of Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent for Business Services, as detailed below.

• High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary education preferred
• Minimum of three years of related administrative experience preferred; school district, governmental, or public-sector experience preferred
• Proficient with PCs, tablets, and other mobile electronic devices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and cloud-based applications
• Familiar with financial systems, data management systems, and analysis
• Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including project management experience
• Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed
• Effective interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work positively and productively with adults and high school-age students

Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent for Business Services

SALARY/RATE: Hourly range of $22.66 to $24.85, based on relevant experience and level of education per the ESP Salary Schedule Appendix B (Administrative Assistants) in the District 108. Negotiated Agreement. This is a benefits-eligible position that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, as well as participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF).
