The Data Analyst will collect and interpret data, identify faults and opportunities, and prepare recommendations for strategies and tactics. Uses analytic methods and tools to understand, predict, and/or control logistics operations and processes.

• Conduct data analysis using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources to develop metrics, reports and visualizations of trends and patterns
• Develop and maintain databases and data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format
• Perform analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data, produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc
• Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets
• Develop reports for the management team stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data to provide recommendations based on data analyses and research
• Assign numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time
• Wage range: $82,730.00–$ (may vary based on geography, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience)

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Bachelor degree or equivalent) – Required

Experience Qualifications

• 4–6 years Experience in data analysis and reporting – Required
• 1–3 years Experience in Transportation / Logistics – Required

Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, AS400, Tableau, and Power BI (High proficiency)
• Data interpretation skills (High proficiency)
• Data analysis skills (High proficiency)
• Proficient in statistical methods and tools (Medium proficiency)
• Quantitative and qualitative skills (Medium proficiency)
• Ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level (High proficiency)
• Critical thinking and creativity (High proficiency)
• Systematic and logical approach to problem-solving (High proficiency)

In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus based on achievement of business and/or individual performance metrics (dependent on position).
