Senior Pricing Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst for a direct hire opportunity in Itasca, IL, supporting commercial pricing strategy within the logistics and transportation industry. This role is ideal for a commercially minded pricing professional who enjoys analyzing transportation costs, partnering with sales and operations, and improving processes that support profitable business growth. • Lead day‑to‑day commercial pricing activity by coaching, guiding, and supporting pricing analysts while promoting consistency and best practices.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership to develop competitive pricing strategies that support profitability and business growth.
• Prepare, analyze, and review complex pricing proposals for domestic and international transportation services.
• Evaluate transportation costs, market trends, customer requirements, and vendor rates to build accurate pricing models.
• Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes through automation, analytics tools, AI, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Resolve pricing discrepancies and collaborate with internal departments on commercial, billing, vendor, and customer‑related issues.
