The Cargo Claims Analyst is responsible for processing freight claims. This position requires a thorough understanding of the company terms, insurance policies, customer contracts, and the legal landscape of the logistics industry.

• File and manage subrogation claim against our carriers and agents, and understand their liability across multiple situations
• Interface with our insurers and operators to ensure that adequate coverage is in place to protect the interests of the organization
• Understand different customer contracts and AIT's liability across multiple situations
• Process claims accurately and in a timely manner to enhance the customer experience
• Obtain missing documentation from the correct parties so that claims may be processed
• Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary
• The wage range for this position is $19.90-$28.10 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.

• High School degree or equivalent experience
• 0-3 years of experience in freight claims or collections.
• Knowledgeable in AS400
• Microsoft Office experience including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus based on achievement of business and/or individual performance metrics (dependent on position).
