Construction Supervisor – Ripple Fiber

Location:

Illinois Office – Itasca, IL 60143.

Salary: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year.

The Construction Supervisor oversees and manages construction activities associated with expanding and upgrading our fiber optic network infrastructure. The role ensures that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.

• Managing construction personnel and delegating tasks to meet deadlines.
• Performing regular inspections of the construction site to ensure designs are followed, specifications and standards are adhered to, and the site is kept clean of debris, garbage, or hazards.
• Managing customer complaints, interfacing directly with customers as needed, and enforcing SLA for contractor resolution of complaints.
• Identifying potential safety hazards and managing them accordingly.
• Ensuring all personnel comply with health and safety practices, wearing appropriate protective equipment, following safe excavation methods, and abiding by state 811/One Call utility requirements.
• Organizing work schedules.
• Checking work techniques are correct and safe per industry standards.
• Assisting Construction Managers with planning work activities.
• Completing site reports and other records daily, including production reports.
• Attending site management meetings daily.
