Workstyle: Virtual – office open 5 days a week, but not required to report unless needed.

The Field Instructor facilitates learning for sales teams across Canon, delivering virtual and instructor‑led training to increase sales of Canon’s imaging solutions. You will train other professionals, coach peers, and serve as a subject‑matter expert on current product programs.

• Support the sales team by delivering virtual and instructor‑led training to Canon USA sales, dealer, and subsidiary sales forces.
• Conduct training on sales skills, products, and technology programs.
• Observe, coach, and provide ongoing support for other instructors.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert and lead the first delivery of new or revised content.
• Collaborate with dealer management to ensure high‑quality programs aligned with performance goals.
• Communicate changes to programs and update course content accordingly.
• Work with sales professionals at their locations or at a Canon Sales Training location nationwide.
• Utilize varied facilitation techniques to lead discussions and hands‑on activities.
• Successfully complete qualification processes required to teach each course.
• Assist in creating and reviewing curriculum.
• Travel up to 75% coast‑to‑coast/overnight to coach on‑site and conduct instructor‑led classes.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (highly preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience delivering skill or product training to sales professionals.
• Prior experience delivering virtual training (plus).
• Demonstrated sales background with commission/bonus structure or measurable results oriented objectives.
• Strong knowledge of digital technology and related software products in the print industry.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to complete delivery certification process.
• Flexible to work across time zones and engage in frequent travel.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) – required.

The base salary for this role ranges from $54,460 to $81,550 annually, varying by geography. Base salaries are $66,300 to $81,550 in New York and $70,310 to $81,550 in California.
