Paraprofessional
Dixon School District #170 is accepting applications for the position of paraprofessional. Paraprofessional duties include monitoring and supervising students, working in a classroom setting or 1-on-1 with a student as needed. Paraprofessional qualifications include highly qualified parapro approval (60 hours post-secondary work shown on a transcript or passing score on the parapro assessment/diploma or GED), interest and ability to work with students/teachers, ability to work with others as well as independently, and ability to multi-task.
Salary and fringe benefits include an hourly rate based on the lane/step placement of the paraprofessional for the 26-27 school year per the DESPA collective bargaining agreement. Range: $15.00 - $18.41. Fifteen (15) days per year sick leave. Two (2) days personal leave per year. Health, vision, dental, and life insurance offered. IMRF retirement.
