• Create and revise 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Review customer drawings and designs to ensure they can be efficiently manufactured using metal stamping, fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to improve manufacturability, quality, and production efficiency.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering change documentation, and product records.
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Production, Tooling, and Quality teams to support new product introductions and ongoing production.
• Provide engineering support on the manufacturing floor by helping resolve production issues and implementing practical design improvements.
• Participate in prototype development, first article builds, and engineering validation activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing cost, improving quality, and increasing manufacturing efficiency.
• Communicate directly with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure engineering requirements are successfully translated into production.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience with Solid Works or another 3D CAD platform.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as sheet metal fabrication, welding, machining, or metal stamping is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Someone who enjoys collaborating with production, solving manufacturing challenges, and continuously expanding their technical knowledge.
