We are seeking a Senior Actuarial Consultant to support our growing actuarial consulting practice. This position requires the candidate to work as part of a team of professionals to independently analyze complex problems and develop workable solutions. The candidate will achieve significant interaction and visibility with clients, which include large corporations and captive insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with loss reserving, pricing, and data analytics projects for a variety of commercial property and casualty lines of business including medical professional liability
  • Organize and analyze large volumes of data, ensuring integrity and accuracy
  • Setup and/or oversee spreadsheet analysis, templates, and exhibits
  • Apply complex actuarial theories and principles to create statistical models
  • Prepare and/or oversee production exhibits and written reports to present findings
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for prospects

Experience Required:
  • BA/BS degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, data analytics, economics, finance, business or related field
  • Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) - Required
  • 6+ years of actuarial experience in the property & casualty industry, with a preference for prior actuarial consulting experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Alteryx, R, Python or related program coding experience is preferred; an aptitude to learn other software packages as needed.
