Collector (Late-Stage Accounts Receivable)
Location:
Itasca, IL
- Dedicated focus on late-stage (211+ day) high-risk accounts
- Real ownership of a defined portfolio (~100 accounts)
- Opportunity to drive escalations including legal and repossession
- High call volume environment (30–50 calls/day) to build negotiation strength
- Work with laid-back, supportive leadership team
- Team-oriented culture with strong collaboration across departments
- Stable, long-term temporary opportunity
- Structured, early schedule options aligned to East Coast accounts
- Manage late-stage collections (211+ day delinquent accounts)
- Make 30–50 outbound calls daily to resolve balances
- Escalate accounts to legal or repossession when necessary
- Perform skip tracing and investigate account status
- Prioritize accounts by exposure and risk
- Collections experience (late-stage strongly preferred)
- Experience with high-risk or severely delinquent accounts
- Strong phone presence and negotiation skills
- Experience with skip tracing or account research
