What You’ll DoYour
Key Responsibilities Include
- Overseeing Tax Compliance & Reporting:
Lead preparation and review of U.S. federal, state, and international filings. Manage global tax calendars, estimated payments, annual provisions (ASC 740), and indirect tax filings. - Shaping Global Tax Strategy:
Optimize the company’s global tax position through proactive planning, including transfer pricing, acquisitions, and restructuring impacts. - Managing Tax Risk:
Identify and mitigate potential tax risks, lead tax audits and disputes, and ensure compliance with ever-evolving tax laws. - Collaborating Cross-Functionally:
Advise senior leadership and business units to ensure tax strategy supports operations and goals. - Developing Talent:
Lead and mentor the tax team (1), promoting learning, growth, and excellence. - Driving Process Improvements:
Enhance tax systems and processes, with a focus on automation, accuracy, and efficiency.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of corporate tax experience with exposure to both U.S. and international tax
- Experience leading global tax compliance, reporting, planning, and audits
- Strong expertise in ASC 740, FIN 48, transfer pricing, and cross-border transactions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation preferred)
- Familiarity with ERP/tax systems (Oracle, One Source Tax Provision, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner across departments and levels
- A proactive, strategic mindset and a hands-on, collaborative approach to problem-solving
The hiring range for this position in Itasca, IL is $160,000 to $190,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors. An annual incentive may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
