Understand and fully interpret physicians' orders to ensure correct tests, specimens, and processing steps are performed.

Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and all internal safety and quality policies, including use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safe work practices.

Attend and complete annual department trainings and other required education to maintain current knowledge of procedures and regulations.

Manage a workload of approximately 30-40 draws per shift while maintaining accuracy, patient comfort, and timely workflow.

Work in a float capacity, traveling to and supporting a variety of clinic settings and locations as assigned.

Strong attention to detail in matching laboratory requisitions to specimen tubes and verifying test orders against scripts or labels.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a float role across multiple sites.

Critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and make sound workflow recommendations.

Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain procedures to patients.

Understanding of and compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations.
