Warehouse Pharmacist

RPh on the Go is seeking a Pharmacist to help support a busy warehouse pharmacy. This is a 6-month contract opportunity for a pharmacist with strong attention to detail and some knowledge of IV medications.

• Clear and active Illinois Pharmacist license.
• Some knowledge of IV medications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume warehouse pharmacy environment.

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of medications, including refrigerated and specialty medications.
• Manage inventory levels, order medications and supplies, and minimize waste and expired products.
• Ensure proper storage conditions and compliance with USP standards and state and federal regulations.
• Verify medication orders before preparation or shipment.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians involved in inventory, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Coordinate with sterile compounding pharmacists and technicians to ensure medications and supplies are available for patient orders.
• Review controlled substance inventory and maintain required documentation.
• Perform cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and quality assurance audits.
• Work closely with purchasing, nursing, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of medications to patients.
• Use pharmacy software and inventory management systems to track medications and supplies.

Weekly pay and medical benefits available.
