Data Analyst, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to support our Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) environment within a manufacturing and logistics organization. This role is ideal for a candidate with early-career experience who is looking to grow their skills in business analysis, ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration.
This position is driven by the company’s ongoing global implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365. While D365 has been successfully implemented within our domestic entities, we are now expanding the platform internationally. The Junior Business Analyst will play a key support role in global rollout initiatives, working alongside senior analysts and project teams to help standardize processes, support deployments, and ensure successful adoption across international business units.
Key Responsibilities:Business Analysis Support:
- Assist in analyzing existing business processes and identifying improvement opportunities within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Support gathering and documenting business requirements under guidance from senior team members.
- Create process flows, functional documentation, and basic gap analyses.
- Validate requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Support configuration, testing, and enhancements of D365 Finance & Operations and Supply Chain modules.
- Assist with troubleshooting and documentation of system issues.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Maintain system and change documentation.
- Support inventory, production, warehousing, and supply chain processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency using D365.
- Learn industry best practices from senior analysts.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, including international stakeholders.
- Assist with training materials, user documentation, and job aids.
- Provide day-to-day user support and elevate issues when needed.
- Assist with project tracking, documentation, and coordination for global initiatives.
- Maintain action items and issue logs.
- Help define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring that all project milestones are met.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating when necessary.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or ERP support role.
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 or another ERP system preferred.
- Manufacturing or logistics experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to document processes and requirements.
- Proficiency in Excel;
Power BI exposure is a plus. - Interest in global systems, process standardization, and ERP implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Exposure to D365 Supply Chain or Finance modules.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Advanced Warehousing, Pricing.
- Interest in process improvement and global ERP environments.
- Exposure to multi-company or multi-currency environments.
Salary Range for this position is 75,000.00 to 95,000.00
