The Service Now Developer will be responsible for the design and build of Service Now Applications and integration to other applications and platforms, including architecture, languages, best practices, and methodologies in an Agile Scrum environment. As a Service Now expert, this role will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining AIT’s Service Now platform, with a main focus on CMDB and ITOM.
Responsibilities- Configure and support 3rd party integrations with Service Now to serve as discovery sources.
- Configure and support Discovery and Service Mapping to populate the CMDB.
- Hands‑on design, development, troubleshooting, and deployment experience with the Service Now platform using agile methodologies.
- Create and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Scheduled Jobs related to CMDB specifically but also other areas of the platform.
- Contribute technical expertise across the platform’s applications to include, but not be limited to, ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, foundations and integrations.
- Resolve system issues including, but not limited to, Discovery issues.
- The wage range for this position is $92,700.00–$ and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline (Required).
Experience
Qualifications:
- 5+ years overall Service Now experience with a strong focus on CMDB, CSDM, Discovery and integrations (Required).
- 3+ years in GLIDE, Business Rules, Client Scripts, sophisticated UI Policies, Flow Designer, ACLs, Script Includes, UI Scripts (Required).
Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with CI (Configuration Item) classes, relationships, and attributes (High proficiency).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to multitask (High proficiency).
- Experience implementing systems using the agile/scrum methodology (High proficiency).
Licenses and
Certifications:
- ITIL V4 Certification (Preferred).
- Service Now Application Developer (Preferred).
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (Required).
